I walk into the store and lay my eyes upon
The most exquisite creature I have ever seen.
My hands and face are pressed to the glass as
I take my time skimming over her body
My eyes resting upon each and every curve,
Every glistening and lustrous part.
Her body was absolutely immaculate
What I would give to play with her for one day.
Who cares if my neighbors complain about the noise?
All that matter is that I'd finally be able to lay my fingers
On those resplendent keys
And play a couple of songs
Maybe a jazz, some fresh funk, bitter blues
Coltrane, Davis, parker.
But a quick glance at the price tag
Quickly shatters those dream
